    This is exactly the video I needed. I bought a 220 watt panel from FB which was only getting 146 watts. After several tests there are 2 diodes not working. I’m going to replace all 6 so that they are all the same age. Cheers mate.

      I'm glad I could help out! When lightning struck my array and killed so many of my diodes I couldn't really find much online for help with it, so once I researched and figured out what the issue was and how to fix it, I figured I'd share so others could more easily find the information.

      Oh man... This radio is circa 2014, an old Android head unit that I bought way back in the day. It works really well, but pretty much any modern android head unit is far superior to it.

    Good morning, great video. I don't get tired of watching it. I wanted to ask if you had a video on how you install the firmware for this mod, with the SKR 1.4 Turbo board with TFT35 screen. I hope all is well.

    • @JoeMartinMVC
      @JoeMartinMVC 11 дней назад

      Hey there, sadly I have not done that mod to my own, so I don't have a video for it. But if you join the Sunlu S8 Facebook group: S8 Sunlu 3D Printer there are a ton of helpful people there that should be able to walk you through it.

    • @ChefDansHookah
      @ChefDansHookah 11 дней назад

      No worries at all, just thought I would ask. I have two San Luis S8 boards, each one is developed a minor little thing that stopped her from working correctly. So I had to switch to an aftermarket bored and I'm weary of using that because I'm concerned of what might happen. I'm actually a part of that group, so I will continue to ask. I appreciate your time.

    Great video! I followed it carefully to fix my 507, but it didn’t work. I got out ye olde voltmeter and measured the voltage on each red wire (input power.) They were all 56V, except on the problem board. I followed that wire back to a second box where it is fed by a fuse. The fuse was blown. New one ($1.50) on order. In the mean time, I added a jumper to feed both blade motors from the left fuse. It’s working great on the slowest setting!

    Ok, did anybody else besides me notice that the tub at the end of the video was NOT the same tub where the repair occurred?

    • @JoeMartinMVC
      @JoeMartinMVC 18 дней назад

      It's the same tub, and the next video that was released (and should be next in the recommended for most people) was epoxying the tub. ruclips.net/video/fF4Cym5vcD8/видео.htmlsi=rS__padUsRpgpabj Figured I'd add the teaser for it at the end of this video since most people would be unhappy if they had a discolored repair.

    Thank you. Two questions I had. Any thoughts on how to save a game before you do this and restore it afterward? Also I had a similar issue with a Gamecube clock battery. A lot of people recommended replacing it with a "Battery mount" so you could just replace the battery without soldering if it ever died again. Is there anything like that for gameboy games (I'm guessing not with how tight of a form factor this is).

    • @JoeMartinMVC
      @JoeMartinMVC 19 дней назад

      There are devices used to back up save data such as this one: amzn.to/3KHqGCC I'd have to grab my old Gamecube and look in to that, but it sounds like a fun video to make. As to your question though, I have not seen anything like that for Gameboy carts.

  • @lorraineprenderville
    @lorraineprenderville 22 дня назад

    If you have a space that you want to close in like this but its only a single door width (34inchs) do you need to build and insert a frame ? Does the framing assist the surrounding areas structurally or is it just so you can put up the plasterboard etc ? Probably a silly question but hey i dont know the answer 🤷‍♀️

    • @JoeMartinMVC
      @JoeMartinMVC 22 дня назад

      Structurally it makes no difference as it would not be adding any strength really, so you're fine on that front. It would only be for attaching the drywall to, as any span greater than 24 inches tends to cause drywall to flex too much and break loose from the wall.

    Ultimate Compound is derived from M105, and utilizes SMAT (Super Micro Abrasive Technology) abrasives that do NOT diminish. Same goes for Ultimate Polish. It's based on M205. I've had similar findings though. I really love the Ultimate twins and have since 2013. I've tried them with a variety of pads and machines, but my favorite is a Porter Cable 7424xp with green and blie Hex Logic pads. Those pads are made for Chemical Guys by Buff and Shine, so I'll use their flat "Grip" pads same foam, no design. I actually prefer thos pads with Optimum too.

    • @JoeMartinMVC
      @JoeMartinMVC Месяц назад

      I'd say you're looking at around 2 hours to install everything, then another 2 hours of drywall work. The main thing that's going to take some time as a newbie is the drywall, which could easily get up to 6 hours depending on how well you're able to apply your drywall mud.

    Hey friend, great video. If u live in United states warranty stickers dont matter. Ment to scare people. But there is actually a law that protects u to work on this without any issues. Anytime a company plays this game with me after i already took something apart i quote the law and tell them to inform their legal department i will be filing a lawsuit if my issue isnt fixed in a timely matter. So far, ive goten 2 free brand new vacuums(shark), a blender(ninja), a mixer(ninja), a multihead system for yard work(ryobi), several other tools(ryobi). Most of the time, once u take it apart yes they dont want it back to attempt repair since their policy is to not take stuff back for warrantys with that sticker broken, so they just sent me new stuff to replace the stuff. Magmuson and moss warranty act of 1975. I have also ended up in court with this law since ninja the first time didnt ever respond, now they do, since a 2500 dollar judgement made them respect the law. Yourwelcome!!! I make it my goal in life to inform people of this law, as its been around for a very long time during the VCR/beta and other electronics and cars finally coming out with warranties and companies were dragging their feet to help people, so this law was made to help us, when government officials actually cared about the american consumer! Law is still in place and considering its wording it generally covers almost any warrantied products.
